Evana Flores is an Art Director that writes
...with a hammer!
She graduated not in the year of our lord, but the year of the pandemic in 2019 from the University of Texas at Austin. Her portfolio was developed through ‘Texas Creative’ as an Art Director with an additional Creative Writing Certificate in the dark arts (poetry).
In the Spring of 2021, she accepted her first agency job at Third Ear in Austin (formerly Latinworks)— where she has worked primarily in the Multricultural/Latin market for brands such as Lay’s, Red Stripe, Snicker’s M&M’s, Pedigree, Highland Park & Google— to name them most.
Her work has been published in Adage, One Club’s Young Ones, and a few poetry magazines here and there. Her current hobbies include making non functional pottery on a child’s size wheel and creating hypothetical music video treatments in her head.
Her goal is to keep making work that elicits emotion— laughter or tears! Ideally both at the same time.
